A Photo Tour of Market Lavington 1998/99
Over the past 18 months or so I have taken many digital photos. As yet, they have not been taken to tell a story, so take them as they are - a sort of quick year or so in the life of a village. Who knows, one day I may get round to making this page less quirky and more meaningful to visitors.

The vicar leads carol singing around the Christmas tree - December 1998

Near West Park Farm - January 1999

The Muddle - March 1999

A customer (well it's my brother in law actually) at a jumble sale behind The Green Dragon - May 22nd 1999

Inside the museum - My sister admires the weekly wash - May22nd 1999

The museum is housed in the school master's house. It is behind the old school and overlooks the churchyard.

Cliffe Hall on Church Fete day - June 26th 1999

Walking the rope at the Church Fete

The church of St Mary sits atop its grassy mound on a sunny day in November 1999.
But a month later the same scene is a snow bound wonderland.

On that day, December 20th 1999, I took a photo from my back door as the sun rose. The village sits in the valley with the chalk hills of Salisbury Plain beyond.
