Market Lavington Midsummer Millennium Celebrations

Just as in older days - a procession of children is organised, this time in the Market Square.

And they are off.

The procession went to the Grove Farm site - where the new village hall will be built.

Here the drum master, Pete, got everybody to have a go.

Percussion instruments of all kinds were in use.

The Parish Council posed!
